"If you shoot a nuclear weapon right into a black hole, the effect would be smaller than a pinprick compared to the enormous gravitational pull of a black hole itself," explains Michio Kaku, professor of theoretical physics at City University of New York.

Light travels at 300,000 kilometers per second or 186,000 miles per second. The time it takes for light from stars to reach us is the distance to the star divided by this speed. The nearest star to us is the Sun and it takes about 8.3 minutes for its light to reach us here on Earth.
Other stars are so much farther away that it is convenient to express the distance to them in units of the distance traveled by light in one year. This unit is called a light year. The next closest star to us is Proxima Centauri. This star is 4.3 light years away which means that light from it takes 4.3 years to reach us. Our galaxy is about 100,000 light years across. This means that it can take tens of thousands of years for light from some stars in our galaxy to reach us. For stars that we can see in nearby galaxies it can take millions of years. The farthest objects we can see are quasars. They are so distant that the light we see from them today left billions of years ago.

So when we look up at the stars we are looking back in time. This is useful for astronomers because when we look at very distant objects we can see what the Universe was like a long time ago.

Allah said: So I swear by the setting of stars. And verily that is indeed a great oath,if you but know. That (this) is indeed an honourable recitation (the Noble Quran). In a Book well-guarded (with Allah in the heaven i.e. Al-Lauh Al-Mahfuz). Which (that Book with Allah) none can touch but the purified (i.e. the angels). A Revelation (this Quran) from the Lord of the Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists).

"So that I may do good in that which I have left behind!" No! It is but a word that he speaks; and behind them is Barzakh (a barrier) until the Day when they will be resurrected.
Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another.
Then, those whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy, these! They are the successful.
And those whose scales (of good deeds) are light, they are those who lose their ownselves, in Hell will they abide.
The Fire will burn their faces, and therein they will grin, with displaced lips (disfigured).
"Were not My Verses (this Quran) recited to you, and then you used to deny them?"
They will say: "Our Lord! Our wretchedness overcame us, and we were (an) erring people.
"Our Lord! Bring us out of this. If ever we return (to evil), then indeed we shall be Zalimun: (polytheists, oppressors, unjust, and wrong-doers)"
He (Allah) will say: "Remain you in it with ignominy! And speak you not to Me!"
Verily, there was a party of My slaves, who used to say: " Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for You are the Best of all who show mercy!"
But you took them for a laughing stock, so much so that they made you forget My Remembrance while you used to laugh at them!

(Allah) said: "What prevented you (O Iblis) that you did not prostrate yourself, when I commanded you?" Iblis (Satan) said: "I am better than him (Adam), You created me from fire, and him You created from clay."
(Allah) said: "(O Iblis) get down from this (Paradise), it is not for you to be arrogant here. Get out, for you are of those humiliated and and disgraced."
(Iblis) said: " Allow me respite till the Day they are raised up (i.e. the Day of Resurrection)."

(Allah) said: "You are of those respited."
(Iblis) said: " Because You have sent me astray,surely I will sit in wait against them (human beings) on Your Straight Path.
Then I will come to them from before them and behind them, from their right and from their left,and You will not find most of them as thankful ones (i.e. they will not be dutiful to You)"

(Allah) said (to Iblis) : " Get out from this (Paradise), disgraced and expelled. Whoever of them (mankind) will follow you, then surely I will fill Hell with you all."
" And O Adam! Dwell you and your wife in Paradise, and eat thereof as you both wish, but approach not this tree otherwise you both will be of the Zalimun (unjust and wrong-doers)."

Then Satan whispered suggestions to them both in order to uncover that which was hidden from them of their private parts(before); he said: "Your Lord did not forbid you this tree save that you should become angels or become of the immortals."
And he (Satan) swore by Allah to them both (saying): "Verily, I am one of the sincere well-wishers for you both."

So he misled them with deception. Was hidden from them of their shame (private parts) become manifest to them and they began to cover themselves with the leaves of Paradise (in order to cover their shame). And their Lord called out to them (saying): "Did I not forbid you that tree and tell you: Verily, Satan is an open enemy to you?"

They said: " Our Lord! We have wronged ourselves. If You forgive us not, and bestow not upon us Your Mercy, we shall certainly be of the losers."
(Allah) said: "Get down, one of you an enemy to the other [i.e. Adam, Eve, and Satan] On earth will be a dwelling-place for you and enjoyment for a time."
He said: "Therein you shall live, and therein you shall die, and from it you shall be brought out (i.e. resurrected)."

O Children of Adam! We have bestowed raiment upon you to cover your private parts and as an adornment; and the raiment of righteousness, that is better. Such are among the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses,lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of Allah, that they may remember (i.e. leave falsehood and follow truth)
O Children of Adam! Let not Satan deceive you, as he got your parents [Adam and Eve] out of Paradise, stripping them of their raiments, to show them their private parts. Verily, he and his soldiers from the jinn or his tribe see you from where you cannot see them. Verily, We made the devils protectors and helpers for those who believe not.

God (Allah) said: Surely! Allah wrongs not even of the weight of an atom (or a small ant), but if there is any good (done), He doubles it, and gives from Him a great reward.

Allah said: Allah bears witness that (none has the right to be worshipped but He), and the angel, and those having knowledge (also give this witness); (He always) maintains His creation in Justice. (none has the right to be worshipped but He), the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
Truly, the religion with Allah is Islam. Those who were given the Scripture (Jews and Christians) did not differ except, out of mutual jealousy, after knowledge had come to them. And whoever disbelieves in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, signs, revelations, etc) of Allah, then surely, Allah is Swift in calling to account.

So because of what they said, Allah rewarded them Gardens under which rivers flow (in Paradise), they will abide therein forever. Such is the reward of Al-Muhsinun (the good-doers)

Or were you witnesses when death approached Jacob? When he said to his sons, "What will you worship after me?" They said, "We shall worship your (God-Allah) the God of your fathers, Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, One God, and to Him we submit (in Islam)"

Allah said: Say (O Muslims), "We believe in Allah and that which has been sent down to us and that which has been sent down to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob, and to Al-Asbat [the offspring of the twelve sons of Jacob], and that which has been given to Moses and Jesus, and that which has been given to the Prophets from their Lord. We make no distinction between any of them, and to Him we have submitted (in Islam)"

These will be given their reward twice over,because they are patient, and repel evil with good, and spend (in charity) out of what We have provided them.

Allah said: So I Swear by whatsoever you see, And by whatsoever you see not, That is verily, the word of an honoured Messenger [i.e. Jibril (Gabril) or Muhammad Peace be upon him which he has brought from Allah]
It is not the word of a poet: little is that you believe!
Nor is it the word of a soothsayer (or a foreteller) : little is that you remember!

And if he (Muhammad Peace be upon him) had forged a false saying concerning Us (Allah), We surely would have seized him by his right hand (or with power and might), And then We certainly would have cut off his life artery (aorta0, And none of you could have withheld Us from (punishing) him.
And Verily, this (Quran) is a Reminder for the Muttaqun (the pious)
And Verily, We know that there are some among you that deny (this Quran).

So those who believe in him (Muhammad), honour him, help him, and follow the light (the Quran) which has been sent down with him, it is they who will be the successful.

O Children of Israel! Remember My Favour which I bestowed upon you, and fulfil (your obligations to) My Covenant (with you) so that I fulfil (My Obligations to) your covenant (with Me), and fear none but Me.

He is the First (nothing is before Him) and the Last (nothing is after Him), And He is All-Knower of every thing.
He it is Who created the heavens and the earth in six Days and then rose over (Istawa) the Throne (in a manner that suits His Majesty). He knows what goes into the earth and what comes forth from it, and what descends from the heaven and what ascends thereto. And He is with you (by His Knowledge) wheresoever you may be. And Allah is All-Seer of what you do.
His is the kingdom of the heavens and the earth. And to Allah return all the matters (for decision).
He merges night into day (i.e.the decrease in the hours of the night is added into the hours of the day), and merges day into night (i.e. the decrease in the hours of the day is added into the hours of the night), and He has full knowledge of whatsoever is in the breasts.
Believe in Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad), and spend of that whereof He has made you trustees. And such of you as believe and spend (in Allah's Way), their will be a great reward.

So he looked down and saw him in the midst of the Fire


He said: "By Allah! You have nearly ruined me.
"Had it not been for the Grace of my Lord, I would certainly have been among those brought forth (to Hell)".
(The dwellers of Paradise will say) "Are we then not to die (any more)? Except our first death, and we shall not be punished? (after we have entered Paradise)"
Truly, this is the supreme success!
For the like of this let the workers work.
Quran 37 v 50-61

God (Allah) said: And We created not the heaven and the earth and all that is between them without purpose! That is the consideration of those who disbelieve!
Then woe to those who disbelieve (in Islamic Monotheism) from the Fire!
Quran 38 v 27

Allah said: It will be said (to them): "Enter you the gates of Hell, to abide therein. And (indeed) what an evil abode of the arrogant!"
Quran 39 v 72

Allah said: But those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah- Islamic Monotheism), for them will be the Fire of Hell. Neither will it have a complete killing effect on them so that they die, nor shall its torment be lightened for them. Thus do We requite every disbeliever!
Quran 35 v 36

Houses of the people of Prophet Salih Peace be upon him

God (Allah) said: And to Thamud (peope, We sent) their brother Salih. He said: "O my people! Worship Allah! You have no other God but Him. None has the right to be worshipped but Allah. Indeed there has come to you a clear sign (the miracle of the coming out of a huge she-camel from the midst of a rock) from your Lord. This she-camel of Allah is a sign to you; so you leave her to graze in Allah's earth, and touch her not with harm, lest a painful torment should seize you.

And remember when He made you successors after 'Ad (people) and gave you habitations in the land, you build for your- selves palaces in plains, and carve out homes in the mountains. So remember the graces (bestowed upon you) from Allah, and do not go about making mischief on the earth."

The leaders of those who were arrogant among his people said to those who were counted weak-to such of them as believed: "Know you that Salih is one sent from his Lord." They said: "We indeed believe in that with which he has been sent."
Those who were arrogant said: "Verily, we disbelieve in that which you believe in."
So they killed the she-camel and insolently defied the Commandment of their Lord, and said: "O Salih! Bring about your threats if you are indeed one of the Messengers (of Allah)"

So the earthquake seized them, and they lay (dead), prostrate in their homes.
Then he [Salih] turned from them, and said: "O my people! I have indeed conveyed to you the Message of my Lord, and have given you good advice but you like not good advisers"
Quran 7 v 73-79

that the day!!!!

Allah said: Al- Qari,ah (the striking Hour i.e the Day of Resurrection).
What is the striking (Hour)?
And what will make you know what the striking (Hour) is?
It is Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about.
And the mountains will be like carded wool.
Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, He will live a pleasant life (in Paradise).
But as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be light, He will have his home in Hawiyah (pit, i.e.Hell).
And what will make you know what it is?
(It is) a fiercely blazing Fire!
Quran sort Al-Qari'ah

Allah said: On the Day when (the first blowing of the Trumpet is blown), the earth and the mountains will shake violently (and everybody will die).
The second blowing of the Trumpet follows it (and everybody will be resurrected).
Quran 30 verses 6-7


Allah said: The Day when they will hear As-Saihah (shout) in truth: that will be the Day of coming out (from the graves, i.e. the Day of Resurrection).
Verily, We it is Who give life and cause death; and to Us is the final return.
On the Day when the earth shall be cleft, from them, (they will come out) hastening forth. That will be a gathering, quite easy for Us.
We know best what they say. And you (O Muhammad) are not the one to force them (to Belief). But warn by the Quran him who fears My Threat.
Quran 50 v 42-45
So (O Muhammad) withdraw from them. The Day that the caller will call (them) to a terrible thing.
They will come forth, with humbled eyes from (their) graves as if they were locusts spread abroad,
Quran 54 v 6-7

Allah said: Then as for him who will be given his Record in his right hand will say: Here! read my Record! Surely, Idid believe that I shall meet my Account!
So he shall be in a life, well-pleasing. In lofty Paradise, The fruits in bunches whereof will be low and near at hand. Eat and drink at ease for that which you have sent on before you in days past!
But as for him who will be given his Record in his left hand, will say: I wish that I had not been given my Record! And that I had never known how my Account is! Would that it (death) had been my end! My wealth has not availed me; My power (and arguments to defend myself) have gone from me!
Quran sort Al-Haqqh verses 19 till 29


Allah said: And you will see the Muujrimun (criminals, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allah _ Islamic Monotheism, polytheists) that Day Muqarranun (bound together) in fetters. Their garments will be pitch, and fire will cover their faces. That Allah may requite each person according to what he has earned.
Truly, Allah is Swift at reckoning. This (Quran) is a Message for manlind (and a clear proof against them), in order that they may be warned thereby, and that they may know that He is the only one god-Allah- (none has the right to be worshipped but Allah) – and that men of understanding may take heed.
Quran sort Ibrahim verses 49-50-51-52


And (remember) the Day when the Zalim (wrong-doer, oppressor, polytheist) will bite at his hands, he will say: "oh! Would that I had taken a path with the Messenger ( Muhammad)
"Ah! Woe to me! Would that I had never taken so-and-so as a Khalil (an intimate friend)!
"He indeed led me astray from the Reminder (this Quran) after it had come to me.
And Satan is to man ever a deserter in the hour of need." Quran sort Al-Furqan

Allah said: And they all shall appear before Allah (on the Day of Resurrection); then the weak will say to those who were arrogant (chiefs): "Verily, we were following you; can you avail us anything against Allah's Torment?" They will say: "Had Allah guided us, we would have guided you. It makes no difference to us (now) whether we rage, or bear (these torments) with patience; there is no place of refuge for us."
And Satan will say when the matter has been decided: "Verily, Allah promised you a promise of truth. And I too promised you, but I betrayed you. I had no authority over you except that I called you, and you responded to me. So blame me not, but blame yourselves. I cannot help you, nor can you help me. I deny your former act in associating me (Satan) as a partner with Allah (by obeying me in the life of the world). Verily, there is a painful torment for the Zalimun (polytheists and wrong-doers)"
Quran sort Ibrahim verses: 21-22

Allah said: And they used to say: "When we die and become dust and bones, shall we then indeed be resurrected?
"And also our forefathers?"
Say (O Muhammad): "(Yes) verily, those of old, and those of later times.
"All will surely be gathered together for appointed Meeting of a known Day.
Quran 56 v 47-50


God( Allah) said: They ask you about the Hours (Day of Resurrection) : "When will be its appointed time?" Say: "The knowledge thereof is with my Lord (Alone). None can reveal its time but He. Heavy is its burden through the heavens and the earth. It shall not come upon you except all of a sudden.
" They ask you as if you have a good knowledge of it. Say: "The knowledge thereof is with Allah (Alone), but most of mankind know not."
Quran sort Al-A'raf verses 187


Allah said: They ask you (O Muhammad) about the Hour – when will be its appointed time?
You have no knowledge to say anything about it.
To your Lord belongs (the knowledge of) the term thereof
You (O Muhammad) are only a warner for those who fear it,
The Day they see it, (it will be) as if they had not tarried (in this world) except an afternoon or morning.
Qoran 79 v 42-46

Why there was the universe!?

God said in the Koran the beginning of the creation of the universe and also mentioned how the end will be
Also told that he had written the events of the beginning and the end before it starts Creation

God (Allah) said: And We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, for mere play.
We created them not except with truth (i.e. to examine and test those who are obedient and those who are disobedient and then reward the obedient ones and punish the disobedient ones), but most of them know not.
Verily, the Day of Judgement (when Allah will judge between the creatures) is the time appointed for all them – The Day when a Maula (a near relative) cannot avail a Maula (a near relative) in aught, and no help can they receive,
Except him on whom Allah has Mercy. Verily, He is the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.
Quran 44 v 38-42


God (Allah) said: Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were joined together as one united piece, then We parted them? And We have made from water every living. Will they not then believe?
Quran sort Al-Anbiya verses 30

Allah said: Say (O Muhammad) Do you verily disbelieve in Him Who created the the earth in two Days? And you set up rivals (in worship) with Him? That is the Lord of theAlamin (mankind, jiin and all that exists). He placed therein (i.e. the earth) firm mountains from above it,and He blessed it, and measured therein its sustenance (for its dwellers) in four Days equal (i.e. all these four days were equal in the length of time) for all those who ask (about its creation).
God (Allah) said: Then He rose over (Istawa) towards the heaven when it smoke, and said to it and to the earth: "Come both of you willingly or unwillingly". They both said: "We come willingly".
Quran sort Fussilat verses 9-10-11


Allah said: With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space (thereof).
Quran 27 verse 47


Allah said: And even if We opened to them a gate from the heaven and they were to keep on ascending thereto (all the day long), They would surely say (in the evening) : "Our eyes have been (as if) dazzled (we have not seen any angel or heaven). Nay, we are a people bewitched"
Quran 15 v 14-15


God (Allah)said: We shall attend to you, O you two classes (jinn and men)! Then which of the Blessings of your Lord will you both (jinn and men) deny?
Oassembly of jinn and men! If you have power to pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, then pass beyond (them)! But you will never be able to pass then, except with authority (from Allah)!
Quran sort Ar-Rahman verses 31-32-33


God said: And (remember) the Day when We shall roll up the heaven like a scroll rolled up for books. As We began the first creation, We shall repeat it. (It is) a promise binding upon Us. Truly, We shall do it.
Quran 17 verses 104


Allah said: They made not a just estimate of Allah such as is due to him. And on the Day of Resurrection the whole of the earth will be grasped by His Hand and the heavens will be rolled up in His Right Hand. Glorified is He, and High is He above all that they associate as partners with Him!
Quran 24 verses 67


God said: And I (Allah) created not the jinn and mankind except that they should worship Me (Alone)
Quran sort Adh-Dhariyat verses 56

Allah said: Blessed is He Who sent down the criterion (of right and wrong, i.e. this Quran) to His slave (Muhammad) that he may be a warner to the Alalmin (mankind and jinn).
He to Whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and Who has begotten no son (children or offspring) and for Whom there is no partner in the dominion. He has created everything, and has measured it exactly according to its due measurements.
Quran sort Al-Furqan verses 1-2

The biggest enemy of mankind

God said: And surely, We created you (your father Adam) and then gave you shape (the noble shape of human being); then We told the angels,"Prostrate yourselves to Adam", and they prostrated themselves, except Iblis (Satan), he refused to be of those who prostrated themselves.
(Allah) said: "What prevented you (O Iblis) that you did not prostrate yourself, when I commanded you?" Iblis (Satan) said: "I am better than him (Adam), You created me from fire, and him You created from clay."
(Allah) said: "(O Iblis) get down from this (Paradise), it is not for you to be arrogant here. Get out, for you are of those humiliated and disgraced."..........

God said: O Children of Adam! Let not Satan deceive you, as he got your parents [Adam and Eve] out of Paradise, stripping them of their raiments, to show them their private parts. Verily, he and his soldiers from the jinn or his tribe see you from where you cannot see them. Verily, We made the devils protectors and helpers for those who believe not.
Quran sort Al-A'raf verses 11-27

God said: And We said: "O Adam! Dwell you and your wife in Paradise and eat both of you freely with pleasure and delight, of things therein as wherever you will, but come not near this tree or you both will be of the Zalimun (wrong-doers)"
Then the Satan made them slip therefrom (Paradise), and got them out from that in which they were. We said: "Get you down, all, with enmity between yourselves. On earth will be a dwelling place for you and an enjoyment for a time."
Then Adam received from his Lord Words. And his Lord pardoned him (accepted his repentance). Verily, He is the One Who accepts repentance, the Most Merciful.
We said: " Get down all of you from this place (Paradise), then whenever there comes to you Guidance from Me, and whoever follows My Guidance, there shall be no fear on them, nor shall they grieve.
But those who disbelieve and deny Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc .) –such are the dwellers of the Fire. They shall abide therein forever.
Quran sort Al-Baqarah verses: 30

God said: (Their allies deceived them) like Satan, when he says to man:"Disbelieve in Allah." But when (man) disbelieves in Allah, Satan says: "I am free of you, I fear Allah, the Lord of the Alamin (mankind, jinn and all that exists)!"
